My Bmt, Sispec , Air force school , Weapon phase comrade's birthday was celebrated by his platoon mates which is us :) hur hur hur ! he treated us to kublai khan at park mall. Nice place to be at, good enviroment, air con , nice food what more can you ask more. We went with the 2 lts loke and kumar, as a part of team bonding ? haha well loong looks like he enjoyed him self alot and we sure are happy , or at least i am ,, haha.

Some months ago was kenny 21 b day. He had accomplish so much, getting his car and motor bike licience, being a army regular , having a regular income . I been doing opps duty in my camp, i can safely say that personals , espically the 3rd sgts in the camp are over stress and under paid ! But what to do, my 2WO <-- boss said that because we owe SAF thats why must do. We Lan Lan have to serve have to serve , i can't wait till i ORD. I got to know this girl from my friend. Today went out with my cousin, kelly:), 1st time go out with him wor, excited. We went to town area , and he bring me around check if there are any tickets avalible. In the end , we went to watch at plaza Singapura. We booked the tickets and have dinner at shangai delights. they serve wonderful LA MIAN , and pork ribs :) . Affordable too, we spent about each person 14 dollars. Watch king kong at 10 50pm, ate nachos, taste.. well too cheesy . haha dun like . King Kong is a very nice show , but its way too draggy, esp the last part, until i wana sleep. Hope i can foster better ties with my cousins and go out with them more offen :)

We went to mabels 20st b day, it was a combine effort with her friend. I shopped 1 hr for her present with x bao AND HUI YANZ , and decided to settle with a gothic designed lamp . We took a cab there , but the cab driver hollanded, i hate the times where taxi drive don't know directions and expect us to pay for the cab fare even though they spent minutes trying to find where is the place. There was pratically nothing to do at the birthday, only to eat and to chat with some long lost secondary school classmates. And 1 more thing, mabel's girlfriend really look like li jia wei :).

5.You can actually eat any thing, even super fucked up things mixed together(eg, red wine with curry plus soya sauce plus chilli.. did i mention satay suace?) and still survive.

I took leave to go to my school's swim camp as an alumi, the camp was different form the previous camp that i went to in the sense that

1. it was run and planned out by the freshies
2. there are more girls then guys ! OMG ! 1st time in swim team history ( the coach also commented so)

even though i went for only 2 days of the camp, i had lots of fun. Had a good time training , and it really motivates me to train more, haha. But its hard to train since i am a NSF , and with the deaths, the Army had put a ban on strainous activites, like gymming, swimming and running. Hai so saD!!!

Sacrifice Vs Things 1 want!

This few weeks, i been eating every day with joel choy aka robbins Choy as he will put it . He have been giving me such solid advises, haha, but the advice that really struck me , is that if you want to be successful there are things that you need to sacrifice. Like the things u do, less tv ? anime ? i been pondering on what is the things i hope to achive in my 2 years stay in army. Btw i completed my unlimited power , haha ,, i have a sense of achivement! after 5 months of gruelling reading :). It takes alot of motivation to read it , but once u read it ,,its not that bad :) hope i can apply them in to good use , will try to read it again when i have the time :)

RSAF walk a jog!!

hmm Saturday went for the rsaf walk and jog , well, i can only did the frist thing , i walk and walk, covered a distance of 3.8km , the rest of the air force brought their kids and spouses there, it seems to me, that the air force is not that small after all. In fact there are alot of chio bus , espically the AOSS and SENIOR TECH , so anyone if want to sign on air force , look out for those vocations. After the walk we went to marina square to have our breakfast, but the queueing up and buying of food took 1 and half hours !! the food chain was flooded with people bearing the words RSAF on their shirt!! WE RULEZ!! WEnt to arcade, Bernad taught me how to play dugeons and Dragons , hmm hard to play i always die !!! die !! Sainz !!! For a momment , we forgot about soon to be "regular" edwin goh, until now , i felt so bad about it ,, seriously .. so sorry!!

hmm with the request of joel , i had to post this picture , haha , i made a comparison between the time he quiting swimming to join body building, and he amazed us with his results! he is remarkable ! astonishing and most persevering person i have ever saw. Those get fit programs i saw on Tv, i don't belive a thing, but seeing his chage , it really inspires me that "every thing is possible if you belive and do". Yesterday i went to PLASMA to sing songs with JOel, kunt FAced LOng ( i am so sorry kunlong , been too firmilar for me to say this), choo wei daaaa =). Esther and kunt long's can't be bothered girl friend was also there. we had a great time singing , though we sang all chinese songs and the 1st 3 hrs, the songs were all delicated by joel , but we still had fun. Towards the end, i was introduced to the legendary "PLASMA MummY", she really looked like a 40 year women with lots of make up on her face. She was also rounded , haha. she hugged and kiss kun long .. arghhED so digusting !!

165 SQN 22Nd anniversary

Today is the 22nd anniversary of 165 sqn , it was held at kent ridge park, we had a 2.2 km jon( it actually intended for it to be a walk, but since joel run so i run also :)), followed by the cutting of cake with a sword of honour ,, haha !! Then we had a photo taking competition which i came in first! haha ! all thanks to joel ! all was boring till the heritage tour, seige on bukit chandu .. the videos were quite intresting, nice sound effects , but other then that ! BORING!! how boring can army get!! haha

Last week i din write my blog as i onli had less then 10 hrs of book out time and i had to rush to camp in the morning with out much sleep to book in for guard duty .. GUARD DUTY really sux especially when it falls on your birthday !! Which happens in my case, i can't belive how "lucky" i am, the chances of striking TOTO was not as high. And for the week , i was excused boots becuz i had really bad blisters and i din have the motivation to continue , but after much consultation form my dad and mom i decided to stick to my principles and shld not waiver no matter what !!

Sispec is not as bad as every one had said, in fact, the welfare was quite good, not like when we were recuits, get pumped by sgts, in sispec we learn to be commanders?(duh!) haha but the training is much more fun and the people in the bunk are much more efficient in sispec then in BMT as most of them are responsible people. Haha! i find it hard to maintain my blog as i only have the chance to bookout once a week, so i will at least try to write my blog once a week!! i did not meet joel this week as we were all busy. And one thing i hate about my self is that i cannot follow routine outside camp, i shld have been more discipline, haha, i try stick to my plan tml !!

Today we had a national heritage tour thingy. it was quite interesting at 1st, but after the trip to the old chapel which was renovated to a mussem, others were quite boring! Waste time. But it is a vauble lesson learn though history. "you can only rely on your self, if u rely on others to protect u , they wont do as well". We got our posting and i was posted to SISPEC(suffer in silence plus extra confinement) haha, so happy, cuz my good buddy joel was also posted there, so coincidental. heee i had dinner with joel at Fish and Co, it was my first time there and we have sea food platter for 2, so romantic !!! hee

This few days have been so so busy with my BMT time , i made some resolutions in the army while waiting for the Bmt training to start. 1 of them is to update my blog spot constantly, so here i am , trying to update my blog spot now. Today is mine post- POP (passing out parade) celebrations, i had lunch with Bao yan and victor, actually i had plans for us to watch a movie, but we played pool as victor was in the mood to play.. hee. Then i met joel for dinner and we had a sushi buffet !!! haha ,, really eat until die sia !! it was very fun , but tommorrow i am getting my posting and i do not know if i can make it to OCS or even SISPEC, abit excited yet nervous.

hmm met shu hui, long time never see her, the last time i saw her was a year ago at a he yao shan concert. eat buffet with her, for 2 and a half hours, talk about what happened during the 1 year, after eating , we met joel and the kunt faced loong , then we went to giant, to scout for shu huis magazine rack, but she din't buy any in the end. After that she went to my house and watch some korean drama which my brother had help her to record, then after that i went to play basket ball living her all at home , haha . feel so bad! after basket ball, i went to eat with joel and go home !

DAY1

Like edison had discribe, the talk was super super boring, but i was more fortunate then edsion as i stayed near the school and only woke up at 6.30am. I befriended a friend by the name of aaron and he became my tour guide for the next four days!

DAY2

I had actually promised to go to the airport with edison, but due to oversleeping, i missed him and he went on the first fight. but nevertheless, i tok Mrt to changi airport. On my way to terminal 2, a women suddenly pointed at me and said that i was late, i in noe wat she was takign about as i was very early for my flight. i reached the airport at around 11 am, and met my brother who was working at the air port for lunch. I saw edison's flight on last call, gosh and the meeting tiem was 9 am for them! I began to think how much longer must i wait before i can depart from singapore. After luch with my bro, i met up with aaron and he introduce to to some girls, and we relax at coffe bean till it was time to take off. At the plane , after it take off, i played tai dee all the way,, for 2 hours! after the plane reach bangkok, we took a bus to our destination, "bangkok palace hotel", the hotel was suitated under a high way, very funny. we 1st had dinner, it was a buffet dinner, i was so happy as i can eat till my fill.. haha but i never expect that for the next three days , all the breakfast, lunch and dinner would be buffet. I met with edison and he looks like he is socialising well with the other people. i swap rooms with other people and opened a room with edison .. haha " kai fang".edison took a shower after the ice breakign was cancelled. after a few minutes, edison was out of the toilet. i tried to figure out on how to use the shower as the bath tub was not some thing i saw frequently in singapore. I do not know how to operate it and in the end , i had a bubble bath, ( but i din tell edsion) , edison was very kind to share most of his tolitries with me ^^, and after bathing we went out to walk, to seven - eleven, the air was smelly and dirty , and the traffic was horrible, so many cars and i dun see a traffic light around! after that we met edison's best firend from republic poly, the 1 that cut his que during the kick start seminar. they took a tu tu to the night bazzar, but we as edison mention, being good kids we went back to the hotel.

Day3

today is the 1st plenary session, we woke up at 5.30 in the morning begin to wash up, then after followed by a buffet breakfast(buffet again!!) and we had to dress formal to eat our breakfast, so uncomfortable!! after breakfast, we have to hear the thai minster talk, his topic was quite intresting and i manage not to sleep. After 2 hrs of talking, it was the Q and A session. there is this particular guy from Repulbic poly by the name of elton, he dun look too smart, but alawys try to act smart by asking the same old question again and again. "blah blah blah .... how can the goverment help?" always the same old question. After the session, it was group disscussion, i did not particpate much though i did a bit of research. i plan to take 5 ,, hehez. the SP people had did much of the research and i decided to make life easy for me and engage the "bo chap" attuide, plan to know what they are talking and saying "yes yes" and nodding my head occassionaly. i manage to use this to smoke through the disscussion 1 and 2. Then it was 2nd round of plenary session, this time it was a professor from chulalongkorn uni, he din't speak good english and his topic was so boring that i can't help my self but to fall asleep after 2 hours of sleep again, elton was up for the ans, but another person from RP took his 1st question.But the person phase the question till it was so hard to understand that the proffessor have to ask the guy wheather it was a comment or a question !! so funny!!then it was group disscussion 2 , as usual , smoke through again . lucky me ^^, then after it was dinner time !! OMG !! bufFET again !! i think i am going to be sick of buffet! After that , the camp tenant arrange us to shop around the night bazzar as many of the guys were caught during the previous nite and they do not want the people to do it again, at the same time they want us to enjoy our self. And i went shoping with edison, Edison ar,, so "cha " dunno how to "sha jia " and he wasted alot of money ><, hehe ,, he event bought a little supprise for his girl firend! then after that we went back, me and edison both have a bubble bath !! so song!! then we went to sleep!!

Day4

We woke up slightly late, ard 7.30am , plan more grp disscussion and as usual i smoke thorugh all of them by doing nothign once again, envet for the skit that we are suppose to do, i had the calafare role. hehe . then same ,, all buffet again !! i am so sick of buffet now!!then at night we had social night and the skit perform by edison group's was world class, they even have a transexual fasion show!! i bet edsion was turn on !! hahathen after the skit was some kong fu followed by thai dancing , edison and i manage to escape the thai dancing part, and i ahd a bubble bath again while edsion went to buy his food stuffs and after that i went out to seven eleven and played tai dee to 2 am !! so tired!!

today was the last day, we had to wake up veri veri early, i also veri sleepy,, we had check out at 6 am and had breakfast, then after words we sat a bus for our educational tour! so freaking broing .. listen to presentations again !! then after that we went TO MBK To buy things, edison told me to look out for the donuts , which i bought 1 box, hehe it tasted heavenly! bought soem gifts for my bro and parents ,, no money gto get for the team nia ! i onli bought 100 sing there. then after we check out and sat a air plane back. i bought some stout for our coach, and a choya for my self, hehe ,, shared a cab with a girl form rp and went home liao!! home sweet home!!

Joel treated me dinner today at marine parade, there is a sushi buffet by the name of sakae sushi, we ate 3 hrs there, during the dinner we kept disscussing about how kun long fair for the exam. we called kun long after the dinner and found out that he failed 2 subjects. Joel keeping thanking me for teaching him this 2 years.

today joel called me and told me that he will be treating me on sunday for thanking me for all the help that i gave him for his sup papers. I borrowed a new series by the name of xiao zhi yi lang, it is quite nice, i seen 24 episodes in 3 days , haha ,, so power ^^, every body is asking me when am i goign to army, ican't wait to go in, its so boring now !

2 days ago was the tp swim camp, i paired up with ah ma in the telematch, we were up against strong competitors like Edison/qing shen, yaoli master and teck guan, ronard(not a threat) and xi yun(veri smart). we finished last in the telematch, but we came in second overall, i was quite happy with the results. After the games, edison gave a lecture on hydrodynamics and stream lining of the body, then marcus and dot gave an explaination on free style and breast stroke respectivly. After that we went to flim our strokes, and it was so fun fliming , we had lots of laughs. The next day was the viewing of the videos , we saw the videos of ivp and the fliming we did yesterday. Every one was laughing at me as i made a very grave mistake during ivp, when i reached, i never look and turn back , hence i was almost DQ as i walk out before the last person reach. the after that we swam and then we had dinner at sub way. The next day, i was sick and was in bed all day, vomit a few times and have diarrhoea.

Polyforum briefing

Today was the poly forum briefing, the so called "officer", Fyan ( i not sure on her name) was in charged, she brief us on the things that we have to do. Edison told me that he was very happy with the arrangement that he gets to do shooping after arriving in bangkok. But catherine who was with us augued that we also have a shoping time , but it was after the whole thing, she stated that we get to pack our bags, and do no need to carry so much things around. We played some games, some of them are fun , but there is 1 very very boring gmae,, it was" due due ti ti shoot? i also don't know what it was suppose to mean. After the forum, i had dinner with edison and after that we caught a bus to century square to watch Sharl Tale, edison said it was lame, was not worth the money watching it. And after that i walked home to burn some carlories, but when i reach home , i was so hungry that i ate a pizza bread that my mom bought ! oH no!!! how am i going on a diet with such determination!!
